A not-for-profit agency, Stamford Emergency Medical Services
(SEMS) is a progressive organization with the responsibility to
provide pre-hospital emergency care and transport to the citizens
and guests of Stamford, Connecticut.
The
ONLY Accredited Ambulance Service in Connecticut
SEMS is accredited by the
Commission on the Accreditation of
Ambulance Services (CAAS),
offering the highest level of pre-hospital emergency care to the
community. All SEMS units are staffed by at
least one Connecticut-licensed paramedic. The SEMS staff is
comprised of thoroughly trained career and volunteer personnel who
together provide high-quality emergency medical care.
