OUR NEXT BLEEDING CONTROL BASICS PROGRAM IS SATURDAY, MARCH 31, 2018 – TWO CLASSES, 10 AM TO 11:30 AM AND 2 PM TO 3:30 PM!  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

Stamford EMS Academy is proud to offer Bleeding Control Basics, an initiative of the American College of Surgeons and the Hartford Consensus.  Similar to how the general public learns and performs CPR, everyone must learn proper bleeding control techniques, including how to use their hands, dressings, and tourniquets.  Victims can quickly die from uncontrolled bleeding, within five to 10 minutes.

Bleding Control training imageBleeding Control Basics will train you on what to do in a bleeding emergency.  Participants will learn proper bleeding control techniques with plenty of hands-on practice using direct pressure, dressings and tourniquets. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion.
