Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology.

ACLS Course Options

HeartCode® ACLS: Self-paced Online Learning

This online course provides an alternative training solution for the busy professional. A web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development.

After completing the online course, students will be scheduled to practice and test their skills with one of our instructors and upon successful completion of the skills test students receive a course completion card.



Traditional Classroom Learning

100% classroom training means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience. Providers enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.


Candidates must have a current Basic Life Support CPR card when they register.

* The American Heart Association requires you to have a current copy of the student manual for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one. Student manuals may be picked up by appointment. Books that are not picked up in advance will be delivered in class.
